Bracken & Twine regularly works alongside wedding planners and collaborates closely with the wider creative team behind each celebration, including stylists, stationers, cake designers, caterers, photographers, lighting teams and venues.
This collaborative approach is particularly important for larger or more design-led weddings, where flowers form part of a much wider visual story. From the proportions of an installation and the positioning of candlelight to linens, stationery, tableware and the colours already present within a venue, considering the entire setting allows the floral design to feel connected rather than added as an afterthought.
When a wedding planner is involved, Katy works closely with them throughout the planning and installation process, helping to ensure the floral elements sit seamlessly within the wider design and that the practicalities of set-up, repurposing and collection are carefully coordinated.

Wherever possible, flowers are sourced from British flower growers alongside carefully selected specialist growers, allowing each wedding to reflect what is naturally beautiful at that particular moment in the year.
Sweet peas, garden roses, blossom, lilac, delphiniums, cosmos, dahlias, grasses, flowering branches and scented herbs are just some of the ingredients that might find their way into a Bracken & Twine wedding as the seasons change.
Working with the seasons means that no two weddings are ever quite the same.
Sustainability is considered throughout the design process too, with foam-free mechanics used wherever possible and arrangements thoughtfully designed so that flowers can often be moved and reimagined throughout the wedding day.
Two decades of floristry
Katy has worked with flowers for over 20 years, beginning her floristry career after completing professional floristry qualifications with Distinction and Double Distinction.
After ten years working within a flower shop, Bracken & Twine Flowers was created from a studio in Old Catton, Norwich, allowing Katy to concentrate on the part of floristry she loves most: weddings.
Today, Bracken & Twine specialises in wedding and event flowers, combining years of technical floristry experience with an instinctive, garden-led approach to design.
To give every celebration the time and attention it deserves, only one full-service wedding is taken on each week.
